Other photos didn't need explaining, but this one does.
In the 1st set of photos I posted, hair was 3 inches long.
In these photos, hair is 3/4 of an inch long
Pic on the left is from Jan. 2003.

The lines are clearer in this one. The fuzz below the hairline is NOT a shadow, but is the latest regrown hair.

In case you can't see the difference, I added some lines that should help to show much the hairline has grown in. 

I cropped the left temple and put it next to a pic from the last batch, so that you can see how much has regrown. 

Here's a pic of my hairline as it looks now. Pic is a bit blurry, due to the everpresent lighting issues. 

This is my hairline slicked back and as clearly photographed as I can get it. Note the blond vellous hairs on both sides in the temple areas.
